It is a 3 story, retail store selling high quality Irish goods such as super soft sweaters, woolen throws, chocolates, Waterford crystals and other Irish crafts! Yes, there is a restaurant, bar and a cafe at Blarney Woollen Mills. You can sample local Irish food at the restaurant. How Do You Get to Blarney Castle from Blarney Woollen Mills? You can easily walk from Blarney Woollen Mills to Blarney Castle. They are literally across the street from each other! When we visited Blarney Castle, we walked across the street to Blarney Woollen Mills to do a little shopping and grab a cup of coffee! We also got our Uber back to the cruise ship from Blarney Woollen Mills. Can You Visit Both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills and Still Get Back in Time Before Your Cruise Ship Sails? Yes, you can visit both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills and still get back in time before your cruise ship sails. You will need approximately 2 hours at Blarney Castle and give yourself an hour at Blarney Woollen Mills. Plus you will need to give yourself 1.5 hours travel time plus another hour to get an Uber or Taxi. If you leave early in the morning when your ship docks, you will have time to visit both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills. However, do keep in mind that it’s not easy to get an Uber or a taxi at Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills. You will have to wait a long time to get an Uber and taxis are not common and you will only be able to get a taxi by chance. How Do You Get to Blarney Castle from Blarney Woollen Mills?

You can easily walk from Blarney Woollen Mills to Blarney Castle. They are literally across the street from each other!

When we visited Blarney Castle, we walked across the street to Blarney Woollen Mills to do a little shopping and grab a cup of coffee!

We also got our Uber back to the cruise ship from Blarney Woollen Mills.

Can You Visit Both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills and Still Get Back in Time Before Your Cruise Ship Sails?

Yes, you can visit both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills and still get back in time before your cruise ship sails.

You will need a total of 5.5 to 6 hours. You need approximately 2 hours at Blarney Castle and an hour at Blarney Woollen Mills. Plus you will need to give yourself 1.5 hours travel time plus another hour to get an Uber or Taxi.

If you leave early in the morning when your ship docks, you will have time to visit both Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills. 

The best way to get to Blarney Woollen Mills is to take a Blarney Castle tour or shore excursion which will usually include time for you to do a little shopping at Blarney Woollen Mills.

However, if you want to do it on your own. You can get a taxi or Uber to Blarney Woollen Mills.

Do keep in mind that it’s not easy to get an Uber or a taxi at Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills. You will have to wait a long time to get an Uber, taxis are not common, and you will only be able to get a taxi by chance.

But do know that taxis and Ubers are not easy to get at Cork Cruise Terminal and at Blarney Woollen Mill so there is a chance you might miss the ship!

The safest and easiest way to get to Blarney Woollen Mill from Cork Cruise Terminal is to book a shore excursion. You will take a tour bus to Blarney Woollen Mill and return to the ship in time before it sails!
