Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ride is one of the most popular rides at Disney. It is a family-friendly dark ride that runs on trackless technology. It is located in Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a fun ride where you are in an out-of-control railroad car with Goofy as the driver. You will go from scene to scene where Mickey and Minnie will try to save you. The theme song of the ride “Nothing Can Stop Us Now”  is addictive and will be playing on repeat in your head even long after the ride!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ride is approximately 5 minutes long.

Yes, there is usually a long wait time to get on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ride. I suggest you go first thing in the morning or at the end of the day for shorter wait times.

There is both an indoor and outdoor portion of the standby line of the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ride. If wait times are long, the outdoor portion will be extended out. The majority of the wait will take place indoors.

Yes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a Disney Genie Plus ride. You can make Lightning Lane reservations for the ride.

The wait is minimal when you get on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Lightning Lane. You pretty much go straight to the ride.

You can buy Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane on the day of your visit to the park. You can then start to make your first Lightning Lane reservations at 7 am.

1. The standby line to get on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is long. If you don’t want to wait you should buy Genie+ Lightning Lane. 

2. Book Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Lightning Lane Reservations as your 2nd or 3rd Lightning Lane ride. I suggest you book the hardest ride to get at 7 am (Slinky Dog Dash) and then 2 hours after Hollywood Studios opens you should book Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway or Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. You should also buy your Individual Lightning Lane for Star Wars Rise of the Resistance at 7 am. 3. If you don’t want to buy Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane, go line up at Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Standby line when it is shortest which is usually when the park opens and the last hour before the park closes.
