My husband and I recently had dinner at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue. Here is my review of our dinner at Enzo’s.

How Long is the Wait at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue?

We were there on the early side and opted for outdoor seating. We waited briefly and were able to get a seat outside pretty quickly. It was nice to sit outside, while sipping a glass of Peroni beer, it kind of felt like being in Italy.

The Bread at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue

After you place your order, your server at Enzo’s will bring you a complimentary bread basket. The bread at Enzo’s is amazing. We were given two types of bread- an olive bread and pan de casa bread. We asked the server where the bread came from, and he pointed across the street to Madonia Bakery.

The Fried Calamari at Enzo’s

We started with fried calamari to share at Enzo’s. The fried calamari was delicious. The edges of the fried calamari were crispy with a good balance of chewiness. It came with a nice marinara sauce for dipping.

What to Order at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue

The pasta is the main attraction at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana that came with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce. The spaghetti was amazing. It’s fresh pasta that is chewy yet al dente. It’s most likely one of the best pastas I’ve ever had in the United States. I’d say it’s comparable to the fresh pasta served at restaurants in Italy. Definitely order pasta at Enzo’s. You can’t go wrong with the pasta.

The eggplant parmigiana is decent. It’s not mind blowing fabulous the way the spaghetti was but it’s a good eggplant parmigiana. The portion is large at Enzo’s and I had leftovers for lunch the next day.

My husband had the Veal a la Enzo. It’s breaded veal with onions tossed in a pan sauce. The veal dish at Enzo’s was tasty. Nevertheless, my husband devoured the entire dish. His only request was for it to come with a side of pasta.

Kid Friendly Food at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue

Although we didn’t bring the kids with us to dine at Enzo’s, we are already planning to bring the kids on our next visit to Arthur Avenue. First of all, the bread will be a hit. I’m almost certain we will be asking for a second bread basket!

The menu at Enzo’s is ideal for kids because they serve classic Italian pasta dishes. I can see my daughter ordering the Pasta with Alfredo Sauce and my son ordering Spaghetti with meatballs.

Where to Park at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue?

Your best bet when dining at Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue is to park at the Belmont Municipal Parking. Enzo’s is conveniently located adjacent to the Belmont Municipal Parking Lot. You can also try your luck and drive down Arthur Avenue to find street parking but that can be challenging at times.

The Belmont Municipal Parking lot on Arthur Avenue is located at 2356 Hoffman Avenue, Bronx, NY. The entrance to the parking lot is from Hoffman Avenue. The nice thing about parking at the Belmont Municipal Parking lot is that there is a driveway that you can walk on that connects you directly to Arthur Avenue. It will take you right to the heart of Arthur Avenue, across from Madonia Bakery and near Enzo’s.
